| The Code sets forth the principles of formation of the budget system of Georgia, establishes the regulations on drafting, review, approval of the state budget of Georgia, the republican budgets and budgets of local self-governance units of autonomous republics, budget execution, reporting and control, as well as the budget relations and responsibility of the central authority and authorities of autonomous republics and local authorities |
| 1.The Code except subparagraph “c” of paragraph 1 of Article 36, para 4 of Article 37, subparagraph “i” of para 3 of Article 38, subparagraph “i” of Article 56, subparagraph “c” of para 4 and subparagraph “h” of para 10 of Article 77, subparagraph “g” of Article 87. subparagraph “c” of para 1 of Article 98, subparagraph “g” of para 3 of Article 100 and subparagraph “h” of Article 110 of this Code shall enter into force on January 1, 2010.
2.Subparagraph “c” of paragraph 1 of Article 36 and subparagraph “i” of para 3 of Article 38 shall enter into force on January 1, 2011.
3.Subparagraph “c” of para 4 and subparagraph “h” of para 10 of Article 77 and subparagraph “g” of para 3 of Article 100 shall enter into force on January 1, 2012.
4.Para 4 of Article 37 and subparagraph “i” of Article 56 shall enter into force on January 1, 2014.
5.Paragraphs 25, 25.1, 25.2 and 25.3 of the Addendum to this Code (“Distribution of Receipts among the State Budget, Republican Budgets and Budgets of Local Self-Governance Units of Abkhazia and Ajara Autonomous Republics according to the Percentage Indicators” ) shall be in force until September 1, 2010. |
